WHAT A HEEL: Missed Manners

Police were called to a Falmouth, MA, Hess gas station after one customer was assaulted for trying give another customers an etiquette lesson. When a 50-year-old man was not thanked for holding the front door of the station open for Carlos Navarro, 38, he “allegedly uttered a sarcastic ‘thank you’ to Navarro,” who took umbrage and “struck the man several times in the stomach and legs” with a golf club, reports Cape Cod Times. The victim suffered minor injuries, and Navarro faces a charge of assault and battery with a dangerous weapon.
