A distraught Latreasa Goodman, 27, of Fort Pierce, FL, called 9-1-1 three times (click here, here, and here; audio files). What was the emergency? After she paid for her order she was informed there were no Chicken McNuggets left and she could not get a refund because of a McDonald’s policy that all sales are final, reports The Smoking Gun. As Goodman was issued a misdemeanor citation for misusing the 9-1-1 system, she kept insisting: “[T]his is an emergency, my McNuggets are an emergency."
