ON THE CUTTING EDGE: You Really Can Make Anything With Legos
Frank Elchesen, 49, builds entire episodes of the '60s show “Star Trek,” such as "The Doomsday Machine" and "The Cage," out of Lego bricks then photographs his creations and shares the images with fellow Trekkies on Flickr, Wired reports:
"I want people to ask themselves, 'Is that made of Legos?' A few people have asked that, and that makes the time and effort all worth it."

Bonus: CNN reports that the tradition of prank-playing “dates back to the time when the Gregorian calendar was first adopted, changing the beginning of the year to January 1 from April 1.
