NOT THE SHARPEST KNIVES IN THE DRAWER: Lost And Found
When a 21-year-old La Crosse man called police dispatchers about 5:45 a.m. and told them he was lost, his cell phone number provider was able to use a GPS to help them locate him, reports the Journal Sentinel (Milwaukee, WI). The man whose blood-alcohol was 0.15 - nearly twice the state limit – told police he left a bar to go to a house party then got lost riding his bike home.
Even sillier than someone calling the cops to ask, “where am I?”: People searching Google to find out where they put their glasses, their own name, their religious affiliation and who stole their dog.
