NOT THE SHARPEST KNIFE IN THE DRAWER: Wrongful Termination Suit Shines Unflattering Spotlight On Plaintiff
When former KOIN (Channel 6-Portland, OR) news director Jeff Alan sued his ex-employer for wrongful termination, his colleagues found out more about him than they ever cared to know, reports The Oregonian: Alan is not his actual surname; according to the Social Security Administration, he’s been dead for 16 years; he skipped out on his wife and three daughters in 1986; a judge ordered him and his girlfriend, Patrice Bailey, to repay charges to a credit card belonging to her elderly mother; and he owns several BDSM (for bondage, discipline, sadism and masochism) Web sites.
[Hat Tip: Washington Post media analyst Howard Kurtz, who notes, “Maybe the lawsuit wasn't such a hot idea.”]

Hahahahah, people better start thinking twice before filing a wrongful termination suit!! It probably won't stop anyone though, according to this article I read anyway: http://employment-law.legalmatch.com/2008/12/legalmatch-reports-startling-rise-in-employment-related-legal-disputes.html
