WHAT A HEEL: Accountability For Thieving Government Accountability Office Contractor
Darryl Lyles, who worked for government technology contractor RGB Technology Inc. of Herndon, VA, was sentenced to a year and a half in prison for stealing 83 laptops from the federal government and selling some of them on Craig's List, reports The Associated Press. Lyles was also ordered to pay $180K in restitution. Thanks to Lyles, RGB lost its contract with the Government Accountability Office and had to fire 12 employees who were working on the account.
