NOT THE SHARPEST KNIVES IN THE DRAWER: Man Summoned By Grim Reaper Gets Parking Summonses
After George Morales, 59, parked his minivan under a Brooklyn-Queens Expressway overpass, he kept getting one parking ticket after another on his windshield. Weeks later, a city marshal tried to tow the vehicle and discovered Morlales’ decomposing body in the back seat, reports The Associated Press: “[T]he vehicle's windows were apparently tinted and ticketing officers don't normally search cars, police said” – even though people had reported a foul odor near the vicinity of the van. The medical examiner said the cause of death was heart disease.
