NOT THE SHARPEST KNIFE IN THE DRAWER: Police Blotter
For the second time in less than a month, a lawyer is accused of smuggling drugs into prison – only in this case, it may have been for personal use. The Allegheny County (PA) Sheriff's Office arrested Keenan Dennard Holmes, 29, at a security checkpoint after a guard allegedly saw the attorney place a folded dollar-bill containing cocaine into a bowl as he was emptying his pockets, reports the Pittsburgh Tribune-Review. Holmes is expected to be arraigned on charges of bringing contraband into a court facility and drug possession.
