NOT THE SHARPEST KNIFE IN THE DRAWER: Impaired Judgment

Jose Lopez, 23, was charged with OVI (Operating a Vehicle while Intoxicated) and driving without a license after a woman flagged down a police officer to complain that he had been following her and flashing the lights of his SUV to get her to pull over, reports WCPO-TC (Channel 9-Cincinnati):

Lopez … told police he thought the woman was drunk and just wanted to stop her.

After investigating, the officer realized that Lopez was actually drunk and the woman he was following was sober.

Lopez could be repatriated to his native Guatemala, pending action by Immigration and Customs Enforcement.
