WHAT A HEEL: Candy Kid

Shaheed Wright, 25, of East Orange, NJ, allegedly stuffed several baggies of cocaine inside his son’s jacket pocket, telling him it was candy. Later that day at Clinton Avenue Daycare Center the four-year old shared his “candy” with friends, reports the New York Daily News:

[F]our children were rushed to the hospital Friday after a teacher discovered the narcotics.

One child ingested the drug but was not made sick.

Wright was charged with four counts of child endangerment and drug offenses, and state child-welfare authorities have begun an investigation.
