THE DAILY BLADE: Oy, Oy, Oy! Barack Hussein Obama

That creepy video of kindergarteners at B. Bernice Young School being taught to sing (literally) the praises of President Barack Hussein Obama during Black History Month, explains why the Department of Education thought nothing of developing a lesson plan that included such assignments as writing a paper on how school children can "help the president."

The song, as written, is plainly cultish partisan propaganda. The Stiletto altered the words just a tad to make the song conform to things Obama actually said, as well as to his domestic and foreign policy positions:

Mm, mmm, mm!
Barack Hussein Obama

He said that all must lend a hand
To make our
57 states strong again

Mmm, mmm, mm!
Barack Hussein Obama

He said we must be fair today
So “
sweeties” must get equal pay

Mmm, mmm, mm!
Barack Hussein Obama

He said he will reach out his hand
To the enemies of our land

Mmm, mmm, mm!
Barack Hussein Obama

He said red, yellow, black or typical white person
Guess whose
wealth I’m gonna spread?

Mmm, mmm, mm!
Barack Hussein Obama

Oy!

Mmm, mmm, mm!
Barack Hussein Obama

Campaign Donations: A Leading Indicator For 2010?

Dems are suffering a reversal of fortune - literally – over President Barack Hussein Obama’s divisive domestic policies, according to an analysis of donations to political action committee (PAC) donations by USA Today:

Republican campaign committees outraised Democrats by $1.7 million in August as they have aggressively collected political cash amid the rancorous debate over health care.

Republicans also held an edge over Democrats in the amount of money available, when counting debts, as both parties set the stage for the 2010 elections, in which more than three dozen competitive House and Senate seats are at stake.

"Republicans have been able to tap into some of the anger against Democrats in power and translate that into fundraising," said Nathan Gonzales of The Rothenberg Political Report.

The Washington Post attributes the turnabout - Dems have outraised Repubs in each of the last four years – to “complacency among their rank-and-file donors and a de facto boycott by many of their wealthiest givers, who have been put off by the party's harsh rhetoric about big business”:

The vast majority of those declines were accounted for by the absence of large donors who, strategists say, have shut their checkbooks in part because Democrats have heightened their attacks on the conduct of major financial firms and set their sights on rewriting the laws that regulate their behavior. …

Democrats and their aides, who spoke on the condition of anonymity to discuss internal party strategy, said that rhetoric toward big business has grown so antagonistic that it has become increasingly difficult to raise money on Wall Street, particularly after the controversy about bonuses and executive compensation. The DSCC has also established a rule that forbids accepting donations from the handful of financial firms that received money from the Troubled Assets Relief Program, the $700 billion bailout effort approved last fall, and have not yet repaid the government.

The National Journal’s Charlie Cook warns Dems:

What we are seeing is an electorate growing just as disgusted with the Democratic majority as it did with the Republican one in 2006. The mounting ethics problems of House Ways and Means Committee Chairman Charles Rangel, D-N.Y., combined with ongoing allegations about House Defense Appropriations Subcommittee Chairman John Murtha, D-Pa., and others on his panel threaten to make matters still worse for their party.

Sure, November 2010 is a long way off, and the economy may well be substantially better by then. But Democratic lawmakers, who must face the voters two years before Obama does, should remember that the public's attitudes tend to eventually harden. Think cement.

The botched healthcare “reform” effort may well be Obama’s Waterloo. A perfect political storm is amassing,” predicts Karl Rove, “and heading straight for Democrats.”

Save The Boobs!

This video not only raises breast cancer awareness amongst the under-30 crowd  - one woman out of 229 aged 30 to 39 will be diagnosed with the potentially fatal disease; lifetime risk from age 30 on is 1 in 8 -  but also raises awareness of what a real – that is, not surgically enhanced – woman with curves looks like. Kudos!
