ON THE CUTTING EDGE: Real Men Light Scented Candles

Turnabout is fair play. Timed-release plug-in room deodorizers, air freshening sprays and scented oils have forced men to live in homes that smell like flower shops. Now, women may have to put up with their homes smelling like “auto shop” or “pigskin,” thanks to a new line of scented candles for manly men called Mandles. And for men who are inclined towards nostalgia, Mandles also includes candles that emit the mouthwatering aroma of sizzling bacon or meat-and-potatoes – except for Mom, how many women have the time or know-how to cook from scratch anymore?
