NOT THE SHARPEST KNIVES IN THE DRAWER: Faster Internet For Islamofascists

Making good on a pledge President Barack Hussein Obama proposed in his Cairo speech, the US Overseas Private Investment Corporation (OPIC) has created a multi-million-dollar technology fund, and issued a call for proposals for projects seeking between $25 and $150 million in financing, reports Agence France-Presse:

The Global Technology and Innovation Fund will "catalyze and facilitate private sector investments" throughout Asia, the Middle East and Africa, the White House said in a statement. …

OPIC said sample projects could help foster the development of new computer technology or telecommunications businesses, or widen access to broadband Internet services.

Proposals must be submitted by the end of November, and managers of funds that make a final short list will make presentations in Washington in January.

Final selections will be announced next June.

Is it just The Stiletto, or does anyone else see a problem with U.S. taxpayers footing the bill to help Islamofascists download jihadi recruitment videos and bomb-making manuals that much faster with high-speed Internet services?
