Acting on a tip from a concerned motorist, Hennepin County (MN) police were trying to get Monica Say, 29, to pull over after witnessing "poor driving conduct." "[N]early causing numerous accidents" during an almost five-mile chase, when she finally stopped her 1996 Buick Regal police found “two children in the car, ages 2 and 4 … an open bottle of rum in a diaper bag [and marijuana] … on the front seat,” reports The Pioneer Press. Her blood-alcohol content was 0.17, more than twice the legal limit, and she has been charged with fleeing a peace officer in a motor vehicle, child endangerment and driving under the influence.
