NOT THE SHARPEST KNIFE IN THE DRAWER: Man Gets Into Trouble For Not Lying To His Wife
A Panama City Beach, FL, man called 911 to report that he was getting into his car when a man dressed in black hit him and took $100 in cash, reports The Associated Press. But when Bay County Sheriff's deputies showed him surveillance video showing him leaving a store, sitting in his car for a short time and then returning to the store to make a call, he allegedly admitted that he made the story up because he did not want to tell his wife he had spent the money. He was arrested and charged with making a false report, and is out on $750 bail. Presumably, his wife now knows about that, too.
