NOT THE SHARPEST KNIFE IN THE DRAWER: Woman Calls Police To Complain She Was Arrested

Naperville, IL, police took Carly Houston into custody after she got into an altercation with a taxicab driver, threatened him with bodily harm and refused to pay the $6.60 fare from downtown Chicago to a gas station the cabbie pulled into so he could call for help.

When she was given a phone to contact a friend or relative who could post her bail, Houston called 9-1-1 – which connected her to Naperville police dispatchers – to report that she was "trapped inside the detention facility," reports the Naperville Sun:

In addition to making a false 911 report, Houston was charged with theft of labor or services, criminal trespass to land and disorderly conduct. All of the charges are misdemeanors.
