NOT THE SHARPEST KNIFE IN THE DRAWER: Clubgoer Collared For Calling Cops, Not Cab

Quadria Bailey was arrested on six counts of misuse of the 9-1-1 system after repeatedly calling for a ride home from the Vandome nightclub in New Haven on Saturday night, reports WFSB-TV (Channel 3-Hartford, CT):

State police said their dispatchers received Bailey's six calls. They said after explaining to Bailey that the 911 system is not a taxi service, she kept calling.

For her part, Bailey - who was released on a $1,000 bond, and is scheduled to appear in court May 5th - claims she kept calling back because she had reception problems.
