WHAT HEELS: Kindergarten Graduation Brawlers Charged
Queiona Burt, 31, and 29-year-old Marina Ruth Vargas have been charged with nterference with peaceful conduct at a school and unlawful acts committed on school grounds for triggering a brawl at a kindergarten graduation ceremony, reports The Associated Press.
The ugly incident began as a verbal argument amongst several mothers and escalated into a 20-person brawl when several men got involved, leading to Victorville’s Puesta del Sol Elementary School being put on lockdown and school officials barring parents from the sixth grade graduation assembly several days later.
Prosecutors say the women face up to nine months in jail if convicted on the two misdemeanor charges.
