THE DAILY BLADE: Let Them Eat Steak!: Part VIII

Bloggers tut-tutted that Michelle Obama’s Andalusian jaunt was politically tone-deaf - the trip coincided with the disheartening news that 131,000 additional jobs were lost in July - a New York Daily News columnist likened her to Marie Antoinette, and The Washington Times chimed in with an editorial titled, “Let Them  Eat Tapas.”

Whether it’s dinner and a Broadway show in NYC, the president’s numerous golf outings, the family’s dog Bo flying to ME on his own plane and the soirees at which the Wagyu beef is sliced freely, the Obamas are enjoying the perks and perquisites of the presidency at a fast and furious pace. They already must know in their bones that come January 21, 2013 they will be going back to their humdrum lives living in a Chicago mansion.

You better get it while you can.

You better get it while you can.

If you wait too long, it'll all be gone,

And you'll be sorry then.
