ON THE CUTTING EDGE: Feet Won’t Fail Me Now
Whether dancing at a family wedding or a hot club, sooner or later many of the women who strutted in on stilettos end up kicking off their heels and padding about barefoot to give their aching feet a break. Isabella Fendt, an enterprising German student, has come up with a more stylish option: vending machines that sell disposable ballerina flats for €7 ($10), reports Reuters. The machines have already been installed in four nightclubs in Munich. The disposable shoes come with a bag so that the hellish heels can be carried home.
