WHAT A HEEL: A Celebration To Last Throughout The Years

Gilbert, AZ, police officers responded to an anonymous call that people were “killing each other,” at a backyard wedding reception and attempted to break up the brawl, reports KPHO-TV (Channel, 5 Phoenix):

When officers were ignored by the disruptive reception attendees, they had to spray them with pepper spray, which caused the guests to become angry and aggressive toward them, police said.

Several back-up officers were called to the scene and local firefighters attended to the people who had been hit with pepper spray, police said.

When police restrained the bride, 28-year-old Angela Davito to stop her from going after one of the guests, she kicked an officer. Still in her wedding regalia, Davito was arrested on suspicion of assault and obstructing governmental operation.
