ON THE CUTTING EDGE: FB BFFs “Annoying”: Survey

Just as men have a love-hate relationship with their GPS devices, so too do women with their Facebook “friends.” Eighty-four percent of 400 female Facebook members by daily deals site Eversave said they found some aspect of their Facebook friends' online behavior annoying because they share too many mundane posts (65 percent); complain too much (63 percent); “like” too many posts (46 percent); post political views with which they disagree (41 percent); promote causes inappropriately or too frequently (40 percent); projects false information or images of a perfect life (40 percent); and posting too many updates about their children (32 percent).

MediaPost notes that the survey results don't specify whether the annoying friends are also women. However, Researchers found 79 percent of the respondents said they use the social networking site to keep their friends informed of their lives, and 64 percent to share information, so chances are the same women who find certain posts annoying are also annoying other women with their posts.
