WHAT HEELS: Going To Be Shackled, And We’re Not Gonna Be Ma-a-a-rried
Having pleaded guilty to first-degree bank robbery, Charles B. Koch, 28, and his fiancé Cheri Harper, 27, were sentenced to seven years in prison and ordered to make a combined $7,600 in restitution by Superior Court Judge Walter Marshall, Gloucester County (NJ) Times reports:
In their guilty pleas, the defendants said they entered the bank with Harper carrying a concealed knife and Koch telling bank employees he had a bomb, though none was shown. They fled with cash taken from tellers.
They were arrested together in Oklahoma during a motor vehicle stop on Jan. 13, 2010. Harper claimed they were en route to Las Vegas to marry.
Under terms of their plea agreements, the pair will be eligible for parole after serving 85 percent of their sentences.
