WHAT HEELS: Bad Reception
Summer N. Igoe, 32, and Jenna M. Dasaro, 31, were arraigned on charges of larceny from a building, larceny over $250 and conspiracy for (allegedly) crashing a wedding and taking $2,800 and a gift. Surveillance video from another wedding the pair had crashed enabled police to find their getaway vehicle and trace it to Dasaro’s home, Worcester (MA) Telegram & Gazette reports:
On May 29, at a wedding reception at the Beechwood Hotel in Worcester, two women caught on surveillance video and later identified by police as the same pair, were involved in suspicious activity. Guests told authorities there were two women at the wedding who did not belong there. They reportedly left the reception in a 2002 Toyota Highlander.
Surveillance video taken at Wachusett Country Club on May 21 showed two white women in black dresses entering the property at separate times and working jointly to steal two wedding gifts and $2,800.
They left the country club in the same 2002 Toyota Highlander.
According to court documents, both women confessed to the thefts, but at her arraignment, Igoe pleaded not guilty. As she has a prior arrest record of identity fraud and larceny over $250, she was ordered held on $2,500 bail. Dasaro was released on personal recognizance and ordered to stop drinking and drugging.
