WHAT A HEEL: Babysitter Paid With Booze
After a tip from a neighbor, police found six intoxicated teens drinking at the home of Lindsey R. Jones - one of whom said she had been given booze in exchange for babysitting Jones’ kids. She has been charged with six counts of contributing to the delinquency of a minor and three counts of neglect of a dependent. She was also charged with marijuana possession after police found the drug in her possession as she was being processed at the Delaware County jail, The Star Press (Muncie, IN) reports:
[This] alleged incident is not the first time Jones has been accused of providing alcohol to a minor. In 2009, Jones, then 28, was arrested after she allegedly punched a teenager she had been drinking with near her home. In that case, police were called to Jones' residence after a 17-year-old boy said Jones had struck him in the jaw. Officers then located Jones' one-year-old son sleeping in a bedroom. He was placed in the custody of relatives by CPS.
Jones has several DUI convictions. Child Protective Services removed her three children from the house.
