NOT THE SHARPEST KNIFE IN THE DRAWER: Maybe This Is Why Men Don’t Ask For Directions

Brentyn Mitchell, 20, was lost. He spotted a patrol car and pulled over the gold Honda Accord he was driving to ask for directions. When the police officer ran the license plate, it turned out that Mitchell should not have been driving it since it had been reported stolen, KPSP-TV (Channel 2, Thousand Palms, CA) reports:

Mitchell was [booked on charges of] possession of the stolen vehicle and violation of probation, according to jail records.

Mitchell's passenger, 21-year-old Banning resident Jaron Hopkins, was charged with providing false information to police, receiving stolen property and violating parole.

Mitchell (on the left in the above photo) and Hopkins (on the right) are each being held in lieu of $25K bail.
