NOT THE SHARPEST KNIFE IN THE DRAWER: Surf & Turf

Nathan Mark Hardy (allegedly) stuffed two bags of jumbo shrimp and two live lobsters into the front pockets of his cargo shorts and secreted a pork loin in the waist band, then tried to leave a D'Iberville, MS, Winn Dixie supermarket without paying.

The Associated Press reports that after being confronted by store employees the 35-year old “tried to escape by throwing the pork loin” at them. He then tried to make a run for it, but slipped and fell in the store just as police officers arrived on the scene, WALA-TV (Channel 10, Mobile, AL) reports.

Hardy, who is on probabtion, was charged with shoplifting and held without bond in the Harrison County Adult Detention Center.
