Man on ecstasy calls 9-1-1 to report armed intruders in his home who were out to get him

NOT THE SHARPEST KNIFE IN THE DRAWER: A Los Angeles man called 9-1-1 to report that he feared “people were out to get him” and when the police got to his residence, he warned them that “there may be possible armed men inside,”  CBSLosAngeles.com reports:

Rather than armed intruders, police say they found a gun and a makeshift marijuana incubator with a small pot farm. They also discovered in plain sight around 3,000 ecstasy pills, with a street value of $10 to $20 each.

Police believe the man was under the influence of his own goods, and may have been hallucinating when he contacted them.

Police estimate the total value of the drugs at $30,000 to $60,000. The man has been arrested on several drug-related charges.

Editorial Note: Paranoia is an effect of long-term ecstasy use.
