How does Obama cure a hangover? Hair of the dog.
THE DAILY BLADE: When Sen. Barack Obama was running for president in 2008 (he wasn’t using his middle name back then; only “racists” were), late-night comedians and their stable of writers complained that he was beyond parody. Literally. Obama was supposedly too serious-minded and intelligent to poke fun at, they complained. The reality was he was too black, and no one wanted to see his career go up in smoke if a joke was deemed racially insensitive by whomever it is that decides these things (related article, fifth item on the page).
Well, thanks to the dogged efforts of The Daily Caller’s Jim Treacher, the hounds of hellacious comedy have finally been loosed on Obama. Treacher dug up an anecdote in Obama’s autobiography, “Dreams From My Father,” about his stepfather having “introduced [him] to dog meat (tough), snake meat (tougher), and roasted grasshopper (crunchy)” – and conservatives could could finally sic their own dog meme on Obama after enduring months of needling over Romney’s driving the family dog Seamus to Ontario in a kennel strapped to the roof of the car (last item on the page).
Faster than a pack of greyhounds at the dog track, the Twitterverse began gathering twiticisms and jokes about Obama’s exotic eating habits (see #ObamaAteADog and #ObamaDogRecipes). The jokes practically write themselves. For your enjoyment, here are 10 Obama-eats-dog jokes that The Stiletto posted on her Facebook page throughout the morning:
Obama's stepfather Lolo Soetoro taught him that when he goes grocery shopping, never buy something without knowing the cost upfront so that he is not cheated. He instructed Obama to ask: "How much is that doggie in the window? The one with the waggley tail. How much is that doggie in the window? I do hope that doggie's for sale."
Bo doesn't let Obama give him a bath anymore because the last time, the water was way, way too hot and there were carrots and celery floating around in it.
Most dogs beg their owners for food or a belly rub. Bo begs Obama for his life.
Obama's favorite dog treats are American Eskimo Pie Dog and Belgian Waffle Shepherd.
When Obama engages in dog whistle politics, he is only calling Bo to dinner.

Q: Why did Obama take Bo for a walk?
A: Because he likes eating free range dog.
Q: When do the dog days of summer start at the Obama house?
A: When Barack Obama sets up the Weber grill.
Q: What kind of food-borne illness did he come down with after Obama ate a dog?
A: Mange.
Q: What is the most popular ad slogan in Kenya?
A: Dog. It's what's for dinner.
Q: What is the second most popular ad slogan in Kenya?
A: Dog. The other white meat.
The Stiletto hopes this meme sticks to Obama like dogs*it on his shoe.
